Alie Bird's recent thesis provides a host of insights into the state of astrology in the UK.
Whilst Alie negotiates a lucrative contract to publish her masterwork, I am privileged to offer these excerpts - the whole of chapters 1 & 11 (the Introduction and Conclusion to her thesis), plus the bibliography.
Of course it isn't altogether satisfactory to excerpt two chapters from such a long work, but I feel that the case for introducing her analysis to a wider public is sufficiently strong that this is a small price to pay.
